To the other Dad's on the board... I hope your Father's Day was as good as mine. After a day like this, I realize that I'm very lucky to be a Dad -- it's not a job, it's a gift.

 

It was good.

After years my step daughter actually called me dad. Something she hasnt done since her dad died years ago. Long story there.

I wrote my kids a fathers day letter:
Fathers Day is a day to recognize Dads.

For me it is also a day of reflection and I would like to say that as a Dad I am extremely proud and pleased to be a father to the 3 best children I know. Of course you will forgive me, you’re no longer children, but in my heart I love each of you as much now as the day you were born. Each of you has provided me with joy and happiness as well as a strong since of pride in EACH of your accomplishments. So let me say on this day I am proud and pleased with my family and my extended family (Kurt and Penny).

Yes it is a good Fathers Day, but every day is a cause for rejoicing for me because I have all of you.
