cash fer life would be sweet, wouldn't retire with it though.
I don't mind my job so far(new job, not a refridgeration "specialist" anymore) I work with metal so I get to use torches and weld and stuff, which I love, on the other hand I use a bender to bend rebar alot which is crappy because I feel like a robot at the end of the night.
My dream job I guess would be to own/operate a hot-rod shop. I'd do everything from bodies to motors and I'd DEFINATLY have a mandrel bender and CNC so I could make one off parts and build headers and exhaust systems. I'd also love it if I could get away with working ONLY on Mustangs and Lightnings or any for vehicle I guess.
I also wouldn't mind building my own line of home audio speakers to compete with JM Labs and Wilson, but I'm not educated enough yet to build my own crossovers, I can't find the time to sit down and read through all the theory.
I have 2 kids so I gave up on my dream of being a rock star.

well, i hate(ed) my job(s) being just out of highschool ive had really crappy jobs.
I just worked at a liquor store.
ya they arnt really careers but I cant stay with a company when I feel I am not an important part of the running of the company..so I quit.
I dont have a dream job right now because I keep changing my mind, thats why I am taking a year off of school to "find" myself and figure out what road to go down.
One thing I have been really thinking about is having my own brewery but I dont want to make beer I want to make a drink that is unique kind of like coke or something.
besides that I love designing stuff and possibly want to start designing furniture and i could also make it as well. (which I might start doing in the next year).
basicly I want to be my own boss. and make things I love and a job that can keep me doing new things.

You could do everyone a favour and put the "coc" back in Coke Cola
As for owning your own brewery, yea that'd be cool and all, I'd rather have a still like back in the day..."ya better stay away from copperhead road...."
That'd be cool runin moonshine like the dukes of hazard....thats my second dream job.

I don't hate my job but it's not quite my dream job. I went to college for it though and have been at it for 10 years in the same company. I used to be more excited to come into work and work on the projects that I was assigned but some of the lustre has worn off now that my youthful enthusiasm has waned. Good pay and flexibility though so it would be hard to ditch it and/or switch careers entirely.
I originally wanted to be an automotive engineer. Work for one of the Big 3 in some kind of area of design or testing, etc. I'm sure some of those guys who work on designing bumper brackets or something mundane probably wish they could do more exciting things too lol I always find it fascinating though how a car design comes together to be something where all the parts fit right and tight. I often now think that being an automotive journalist would be pretty freakin' cool too. Getting invited to test drive the latest and greatest. That would be pretty neat. But I relented somewhat and chose a career in mechanical engineering albeit for buildings (I have an interest in architecture too). Still get to design and draw things, go out and inspect construction sites, etc. Not a bad compromise.

i dont hate my current job. im in college, work as many hours i want.. 44 if i want.. an ya it pays for my bills atm.. but in no way can i support a family
thats what i want.. a "decent" job that has some respect that can support a family of 4 or 5. other then that i dont care what i do.. i mean we all have dreams.. but many of them sad as it is. are only dreams and nothing more. and will be nothing more.
if money wasnt an issue id want to own my own company nothing big.. u know like my own garage with 3-4 bays.. u know
only time can tell tho.
