The rods. My buddy has a cheaper one and the rods to control the players bent very VERY easily. Make sure those are pretty sturdy and make sure its pretty sturdy.

The one at Costco looks well built, but it's like $300 ...

Don't buy one from Canadian Tire or Walmart

To get a good, durable table you'll be looking at $1000 +
You'll want a table with solid rods - they take a pounding. You'll also want very solid construction and a playing surface free of warps and wobbles - you likely won't get that for under $700 with good rods.

Look at Cyclone/Tornado.

3 man defence is subject to opinion. I learned on a rear 3 bar and can't play on a single goalie table.

single goalie table is the best. then u have 2 man up front from the goalie. if u know what u are doin u can quickly pass it up with the goalie to one of the men and get a nice cut shot
