To get a good, durable table you'll be looking at $1000 +
You'll want a table with solid rods - they take a pounding. You'll also want very solid construction and a playing surface free of warps and wobbles - you likely won't get that for under $700 with good rods.
Look at Cyclone/Tornado.

You shoulf be able to pick up a table for well under $1000. I got mine from a guy moving for a 40 of Rye. It's an alder Hurricane. Anyways you should be able to get a good table for $500-$600. Make sure it only has a goalie and not a goalie and two defence on the last bar. I hate three man defence.
