My Buddy was talking about some guy he knows who sells homemade stunguns... apparently you use a camera flash and some other junk... he didn't really know...

anyone ever hear of these... I want to make one...

Me and my buddy built a few back in school. Mine didn't work so well but his was pretty good, off just a 9V battery it felt a little worse then getting zapped with 120VAC

Biggest thing is to get the proper transformer, besides that the rest is simple off the shelf parts you could probably yank out of an old VCR

Yeah the cap inside of a camera is a powerful thing, of course you wont fully understand that unless you are stupid enough to touch a charged one like i was!
