now up 2-1 in the series against detroit!!!

How intense is that?!?

They played a pretty solid game out there tonight, and with only 5 defensemen really! Unless you count the dude they brought up, Evans. He played a solid 32 seconds for his first NHL game ever, which also happened to be a playoff game - thats hardcore!

 

They played very well, I'll give them that.

I think Calgary will take Detroit out, Iginla *spelling* is a mad man out there , he's really going nutz he wants the cup bad...

 

yeah.....I still believe there is no one in the NHL more happy to be playing hockey there than Iginla. Second to Iginla is Conroy!

And i think that the reason listed above is the sole reason why that team has made it where they have. So many players in the league only play for the money...and thus you end up like COL or NYR or somewhat like detroit who's spent more money on i believe free agents alone than calgary has on their whole roster!

Forget about the money for a bit and play for the sake of getting to play hockey, which you absolutely love for a living!

 

Darrel Sutter is the man. Iginla, kiprisov, Conroy and Gelina are all playing amazing and it's thanks to Sutter. Look how hord these guys work. These are skilled players playing hard nosed hockey. They are using their skills along with Sutters ***** to the wall style of hockey to out work and out play both Detroit and Vancouver. You gotta love a captain who scores almost every night and can scrap with the best of them. If they keep the intensity up this team has what it takes.
