Still getting over mine...it is hard because it was all summer of almost every day seeing each other. Too bad we live in different places. Just can't get her off of my mind 
Anyways, I realize yours is a lot worse. My advice is lay low for a couple weeks and try to stay around a group of friends. Do things that will take your mind off of her and after a week give her a call if you still want to be friends. It'll all smooth out.

Hang in there.
Find a different job, get a new//different car.
Quit smoking.. exercise.. positive positive positive.
You`ll slowly find out that there are things that you are interested in, specially when theres nobody else but yourself to think of.
Reflect on why it didt work out and try to be honest with yourself (as painfull as it is, no one is perfect)
Hate will consume all that is good.

Well still finding it hard but strating to deal. Lets take a vote. Is going to a party with a girl that I have not talked to in a 6 months that I fooled around with alot in high school 5 plus years ago (dated last girl for 4 years) a good way to get over a girl?

And yes I do see the down side to this, especialy since I am still friends with the other girl. And to those of you that think friends after never happens it is actualy working very well.
