how do you remove tape from a window?

well i had a for sale on the lumina's window and i went to take it off today and thier was some stuff left behind and it take's forever to get off. so what should i use to speed it up. i have tried vinegur and water. and a scatch pad. nothing seems to work with this.

For the best $#!+ ever go buy "Goof Off"
Don't snort the **** or you'll be on your @$$ in no time. I use it to clean my windows all the time. One time someone spray painted my back one and it came off in minutes! I wouldnt suggest using it on paint though. It might be safe but I wouldnt risk it.

almost any non-polar solvent and some polar solvents like acetone... (ie nailpolish remover)..

May not have had the same effect I dunno. Whenever I have sticky residue from a from of tape I use my hands and water and just keep rubbin it. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.
