In the "George is back" thread.....didn't Yuli say he "missed him"? Now he needs a better gun so he doesn't miss next time. lol
I don't know about GTA but out west here you only need to take the FAC test held every couple months. Fill out the necessary registration papers after passing and then purchase your firearm. Check before hand if the particular firearm is prohibited or not before you buy.

You need an FAC with a restricted certification, then you also need a seperate permit for each gun you want to own/transport.
You are not allowed to have the gun in your posession other than from your house to the range and back. Having a handgun loaded is illegal (unless in a range), the gun must be locked, and the ammunition must also be locked seperatly.
