Lot's of long distance here.
I use Distributel http://www.distributel.ca/

The cost is a set $19 per month and it gives you unlimited long distance anywhere/anytime in one province or for 10c a min. anywhere in the country.
They also have different plans to suit your needs.

10c a min with a flat rate is a total rip.

Used to have 5.9c a min with LD anywhere in North America and $4.95 flat monthly rate. Then my old man switched up to a plan where he could call all over Europe for 7c a minute, and regular LD for 7.9c/min. I thought he was crazy, but at least there's no stupid flat monthly rate crap.

Honestly, if you're paying more than 8c a minute for regular LD calls, you're paying too much.

My GF and I use excel. I can garantee that it is the cheapest long distance company in Canada. With the exception on a really old telus plan and one by primus if you use between a certain amount of minutes. Also with excel there are no service charges or monthly fees, which really get to me. I hate them. Last month our bill was like 1.46$! I think telus's monthly fee is like 3.95$ or something

I kinda know about this as my GF is a representative for excel. And we make some good money doing it too! Help pay for the stereo addictin!

Don't take this as advertisement or sales. I'm just mentioning the fact.

I try to avoid long distance calls after racking up $149 worth of phone bills with my ex girlfriend.

last I heard when I was working for Sears, Sears Connect is offering 9 cents a minute. Although I was supposed to sell that I felt it was wrong to cram that into the phone call when someone wanted nothing to do with it so I didnt, but itz actually a good longdistance plan hold on...

Sears Connect Check it out.
