Religion matters, lots of stupid things are done based on religion. I would far prefer someone to base their decisions on what is best for the country as opposed to what is best for their theoretical diety; whether existant or not).

I am voting for nobody because I refuse to be part of the problem. Unless, of course, someone decideds to actually tell me what they want to do as opposed to what bad things they 'wont' do.

Running your campaign on "I won't slaughter 10 year olds, I won't take shoes from 13 year olds and I won't feed people who have less than 8 fingers" is stupid. Let me know what you want to do, not what you won't do, and I will determine if you're full of crap. It pretty obvious to see when someone's making claims that aren't even remotely feasible.

I'm voting Conservative Party of Canada, and from what I hear they are a "shoe in" to win Alberta.

 

I definately think you should vote. If you want to see what they are going to do, you have to do some leg work. Ask your local representatives, they will answer any questions you have. Also look up the party platform on their websites. Unfortunately most people just see the T.V. commercials that are designed to catch people's attention quickly, and the easiest way to do that is by showing how fiscally irresponsible the Liberals are or that the Conservatives believe in god. Me I am going with what effects me more, keeping my own money in my pocket.

 

That's provincial though, not federal.
