Your initial thought of getting the edge is correct. You want to do something that no other guy has done for them and make it interesting (but still on a student's budget).

What are her tastes?

If she's into the arts: Major plays and museum's can be pricey, however, you go to school so take advantage of that. Take her to a play that the drama class is doing. They can be even more interesting and fun some times.

If she's athletic: Ticket's to major sporting events are expensive. Indoor rock climbing however is not and it's great fun. Show her just how athletic you can be and make a connection when you're spotting her (she'll see you're trust worthy and sensitive to her needs).

As long as you follow the adhered to procedure of the morning after. Never, ever, ever, take the direct route to take her home. Always take a different and highly confusing route so as she cannot find you or where you live all on her own. Nevermind the fact that "I need some ideas for interesting and inexpensive activities I can use spontaneoulsy with girls Ive already taken home....
