Sept 11 2001 imo is the main reason. Demand for law and security has skyrocket since and probably wil continue to.

Reason I wanted to get into law and security was because of sept 11 2001. I was at the Twin Towers 4 months before it happened. I joined the field in hopes of preventing something like that from ever happening again.
