Congrats! It is 21 months between when I got engaged and our date. I don't see what the rush is, you are committed and that is the important part. A lot less stress and more time to plan things and get stuff on sale this way.

Congrats man, and its better to have more time inbetween, your committed to each other i dont see the rush, plus it gives you time to plan the wedding seeing as most halls and churches or wherever you plan to get married are booked years in advance.

My wife and I waited I think almost 3 years, my cousin and fiance are getting married not this April comming up but the next they will have about 3 year gap as well. *Off to Dominican we go**
