Try places like Nationwide warehouse, Fair Deal Furniture....anyone that sells discounted new furniture, like the pull-out ads that always seem to come with the Calgary Sun. That's a good start.

we put aside 5000 dollers for a couch and love seat.. ended up spend ing about 3200 for love seat couch and chair> go to ????? its a big yellow well known sign? leons or somthing. there a beautiful set... the couch is only 800 dollers and it comes with a 5 year warrenty on springs + lifetime on frame.

the fabric is hard to discribe, its kind of a cloth but buttery soft and its a pillow top cusion... you sink into it but then theres a stiffer cousin lower to keep you from sinking to low.

I just love my couch and movies

its there best selling couches every year.

Just need to buy a computer for myself when I get out I suppose.

You would be surprised what kind of deals you can find at places like Goodwill and Salvation Army stores. A good friend of mine, (middle class family man) scored a very nice sofa and loveseat set for a cool $75 at a local Salvation Army store. Also, if you have a spare Saturday morning, you may want to consider a trip to the local garage sales. If you want to go new, I also suggest Sears, they often have great sales and their service/warranty can't be beat.
