Thumbs up Increase Car Starter Range

The following link is for something I just seen, thought it was very interesting and will be trying it myself shortly. Thought you fellow car enthusiasts would enjoy. I don't claim this is new, or my own. Basically (for those of you that don't trust outside links) it is a guy soldering a wire to the antenna in the remote start.

Just my luck that spikedhumor goes down after I post, just give it an hour or 2 boys and it'll be up and running.

from watching the video, and where he tries it after the 'mod' that's nothing to write home about... looked like 150-200 ft. just about any RS will do like 300 easy...

there were test of people putting higher voltage batteries in their remotes to gain range, it worked but shortened the life of the remote by quite a bit; not to mention that it's illegal to do such a thing.
