whats the deal with these guys, the other day i open the paper(edmonton sun) and one of their flyers falls out. a regular sale flyer, with all kinds of new models and stuff in it. i thought they were going or went under, yet this was just one of their everyday flyers, no mention of doors closing, or anything related to shutting down, even on the front page there was a big column about their financing program. did i miss something, or was it just a hoax?

 

but they had all the locations listed on the front page as well? i dunno just seems weird, but not too weird for that scam central hehe

 

That is weird... Maybe someone just put the flyer in your paper (a old one). Maybe they sell online now? I dont know, who cares.

Man...I stopeed in an Edmonton shop just for the hell of it near the edn of Feb. What a mess. I figured that this was one of the shops that was closing down...nope! The dude said they were staying open, and they were closing some other shops.

This place looked like they had ripped out half the stuff from all the display boards, they had raw drivers and x-overs just laying around, crap everywhere.

I needed an in-line fuse holder (and it was a sunday) and I thought I would see what they had. After 5min of trying to get a sales man to help, then another 5min waiting for him to find some dude to open the till...only to find out that I had to wait again to get change...I just walked out.

What a gong-show!

 

Man I feel for you guys out in the west I checked out their flyer and the prices are crazy [img]graemlins/puke.gif[/img] . I noted that the 51" Toshiba $2800 I bought the same one here for $2300 about 3 weeks ago. I hope all prices arent that drastic of a difference
