Welcome and thank you for the response on my sealed box question. I feel that car audio should have the best of both SQ sand SPL or at least a medium between the two. I'm an SPL guy but if you can drive your first place car home your doing it right and I know you can't drive a 4" thick lexan windshield home very easy.

</font>
SQ is for people who dont know what a ported box is???
Didnt know that the box type dictated SQ??
SPL- been there done that. SPL is for either extreme competitors or 17yr old's needing there ego stroked.
SQ- I like my money to be an investment I can enjoy.
To each there own.

</font>
Hah! If I didn't want such a low Qtc, I'd be all over a 23hz tuning with my driver. Ported schmorted, You can sound just fine with one. It's a heck of a lot easier to be world class in SQ without spending the cashola, as long as you know what pieces in your system don't make an audible sonic difference (hence, the ones you can cheap out on). David Navone is my hero.

George thinks it takes a boy to put a subwoofer into a box and make it go loud. George thinks it takes a man to put speakers into a car and make it sound and image good. George also thinks that only boys build these SPL fire traps that they call installs.
