there's a software called goPod 1.1

Canadian and European iPods have the volume limiters. American iPods have unlocked volume limiters. This software turns off the limiter.

itunes is ok but it only allows your ipod to work on one computer. so if you are like me who has a home pc, work pc and a laptop itunes doesnt cut it for me.

There is a plugin that goes with winamp. Thats what I use because Itunes blows

here is the scenario. i tried all those programs and they all crash.....reason being is that some of my files are not named in english, they are named in another laguage, apperantly this makes all those programs go haywire.

winamp thing is ok but it also wont read another language, although it doesnt crash the files come up with retarded names which you can even read.
