So...

I wake my but up at 3 am Saturday morning to watch qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix. I'm glad I did...because it was an excellent final qualifying session. And....Shumi spins on his fast lap!!!! He qualifies at the back of the grid!! His worst qualification of his carreer.

Man...I was smiling.

But it gets better!

Today, I wake up again at 3 AM to watch the race. And it was more of the same...

Shumi spins in the race, bangs into another car...and then gets a flat tire. After a total of 4 (!!!!) pit stops, shumi finished the race in 12th.

Everything that could have gone wrong did, and it was all his fault. Talk about bad luck...but he's had it coming....

No crying, Micheal was very mature about it.

Kimi finished second behind Barachello, Button was third.

I'm normally in a different time zone, so yes Dukk...this time it was a PITA.

I love the sport though.

Kimi has had the worst mechanical reliability of any McLaren in the history of the breed...hate to see great talent wasted like that

When you are the highest paid "athelete" in the world.....a single loss is something that you can forget about. His thoughts after the race:
"Man....I can't believe how bad my luck was today. I haven't driven that poorly in years! I need some serious cheering up. What should I do? Maybe I'll buy a new country. No.....too much money. Maybe I'll just buy an island instead. Yeah.....an island, with monkey butlers."

Yeah, NASCAR > F1 ... What kind of loser would want to turn right and use their brakes outside of the pit, anyways ?
