when i went out this morning cause my car wouldn't start with the remote, it was -43, on the thermometer, no wind really. i plugged in the car last night, but my block heater cord was cracked and i didnt know, so i had to do a rewire job out there at 7:50am and it is 9:15 now and she's running. gotta love those little 4 bangers, they dont need to be plugged in for long. i called work to say i was going to be late, and only the secretary was there, everyone else was froze up too lol. you know its cold out when the speedo cable makes the most god awful high pitched squeal when i go over 20 k's. i swear people outside can hear it when i drive by hehe. btw, i'm in cold lake ab

I think this cold snap has got the best of my starter...
last couple days I hit the remote start and all I get for the first couple tries is"-r-r-r-r-zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz z..."Oh well...another few bucks into the beater...Pick Ur Part here I come.....again...

But the car does start after a couple tries..plugged in of course..

It's not that cold here but 2 weeks ago it was the same deal, and my car was completely frozen for 3 days before i got it towed to a garage. I feel for you [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]

its freakin feezing up further north here too [img]tongue.gif[/img] walking to school sucks.....but i don't have any this week due too exams [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

 

Ahhhhhhhhh.....It's a balmy 6 deg today, should get up to 10 centigrade in the sun tomorrow in Victoria...
