One week left with Auto Value....
And I forsee the store falling apart very quickly after I leave...and no I'm not full of myself....others have said the same thing..
One shifty has told me he plans to leave soon as well...2 other counter people are saying if we leave, they leave....When something happens or someone doesnt know something, I'm the one people come to....EVEN THE SHIFT MANAGER!!Pretty bad when you have to show your shifty how to do his job...
Yesterday,I stopped by there to pickup something.I walked out into the retail area, to find a customer walking around aimlessly.He comes over to me and says "I'm sorry, but do you work here?""...Yeah...sortf of...but it's my day off..""Oh I'm so sorry sir, but is there any chance you can help me?I can't find anyone...where is everyone?"...
Need I say more....

Well...I'm suuposed to be off today and tommorow and then go back for my last day on Friday...But at this point,I really don't think I will...
I spent the day yesterday keeping myself from wanting to punch out the shift manager...Mr.I can do whateverthehellIwantwhenIwant....
Back in the short time I was a shifty, I was catching hell for things as small as forgetting to tell someone I was going into the warehouse area to do paperwork...
This guy yesterday alone broke nearly every rule I was ever bitched out for breaking(even though I didnt)...I went looking for him to sign a paper, and 10 mins later,I found him on the otherside of the parking lot talking to one of the mechanic from the shop next door....while Blake and I had a lineup of customers!!
I've truly had enough!!
Oh Limo, I dont have problem with Auto Value as a whole,its just the one store...They are the most disorganized,immmature,childish group of "workers" I have ever worked with...but on the other hand, they are some of the most fun "people" I have had the chance to work with...It's just too bad that they dont know when the time to have fun is and the time to work...

Its actually 1 more day....but heres the clincher....
The shifty due to be on that day has won a trip to Las Vegas...and the other one(from yesterday)is gone to Edmonton...
Soooo...Therefore I will be required to not only do my own work,but also be babysitter to the staff and answer all their questions,And likely have to do some of the shift manager's work as well....
As is I already hold everyones hand, including the shifties...yes...I show the shift managers how to do their job!!
I know I would be a bigger man in going in for the one day, but I can see the day starting as a 12-9pm shift and becoming a 12-?? shift...
If I know the store manager right,He'll drag out the last of my 2 weeks notice as looooooong as possible....who by the way is crippled with back problems and is "unable" to help out around the store.whatever!?!?!?!

I thought about it....I guess I'll go in....But I'm going to be a total slackass all day though....
I'm going to show up just in time for the start of my shift and at 9pm(unless some stupidass customer walks in at 8:59)I'm gone!!For Good!!
If something does happen that I need to go back to Auto Value,it sure as hell wont be that location...
