How many more years until all the ex-hippies are gone and this bandwagon can be burned?

Dukk and I agree on something??
Mark this one in the books...
Sad part of it is that the Hippies are showing their kids about it all and getting them on the band wagon...I have a feeling it will be a while before we hear the end or even the diedown of this yearly waste of time and newspaper area.
man i just had to 2 cent this one.....
its cause his music reached more people than mother teresa or ghandi.....they reached people not of this continent. do you think that in india they even know who lennon was or do you think in india they have a clue who dime bag was. rock and roll is a part of american history. and when a famous rock and roll person dies....or gets killed they affect us because thier music afected us.....
hendrix...elvis...morrison....lennon....janis..... heck even sid . it was thier music that envoked a reaction. some stronger than others. each person has thier own feeling about someones death......my 2 cents......and i just wanted to state that because there is a reason my son is named sean. and it isnt because of mother teresa or ghandi...it was because a mans death invoked a reaction in me.... and now inviked a reply to this thread.

Comparing the Beatles to N-Sync, very nice. Let's start with, the Beatles actually had talent, they played their own instruments, they wrote their own music and let's not forget, they were basically the first big band, before them it was pretty much solo artists. Anyone doing something first is going to be recognized. WHo was the second guy to land on the moon? (not saying anyone actually set foot there). John Lennon wrote music and lyrics that influence artists to this day. While I agree that the media goes way overboard, John Lennon was still pretty much the best at what he did, but wouldn't have made a very good Mr. Conductor, which is why Ringo will always be the best Beatle!
