blind face it. i have a problem with spelling. i try my best to fix the mistake's.

Yes, when you buy electronics in Alberta now, you pay a levy, just like a tire levy.

In Calgary, you can take dead computers to Shred-A-Can recyclers. If you take the time to seperate the cases from the guts, you'll even get a few cents for them. Yes, the boards get melted down and the gold is recycled, perhaps the lead too. I think they pay about 25 cents a pound for electronics boards... But don't quote me on that...

 

hey now don't be steeling the word's right out of my mouth. was i not the one who orginaly posted that tax thing in the first place. any one remember that post. so i know thier's a tax and what not.
