Well I have wanted to get an alarm for a while now, and finally got the money for it. I don't have any pic's of it cause I still got to go to the store and pick it up. It's a compustar 2-way alarm starter combo; it's the one that they released in the first half of the 2004 season. Boy o boy I can't wait to go get it installed. Thx to the people who helped me choose the right one.

If your going to make any stupid comments please keep them to your self, as I am tiered of people's stupidity being left on my post's!!

Nothing stupid about getting a good alarm and having it installed by someone competent. Now, if you bought a CAR-GARD and were having "some guy" put it in I could see the stupid comments flowing.

a solid alarm....i have ummm well i bought it somewhere in 2004, about half way thru and it's a sweet alarm. When i'm workin at the telus building, 27th floor, i can start my car which is about 5 blocks away, not to mention the distance from the 27th floor down.

It's a sweet *** sweet alarm!!! Unless somehow hte install is messed, i don't see how someone could be unhappy with this beaut!!!

umm model number yes let me check here, im pretty sure it's the 2W900FM-AS. it's the one with the better antena, the one that won't break off so easy. ya it has a manual tranny start up thing, if you want to learn more about it go to the compustart sight.

Mine...hmm don't see a specific model number on it, it was the 2way fm-as back int he day....says R7000 on the back beside the serial #

None the less, mine is in a stick. Seems to work fine for me. To have the vechicle in mode capable of starting though, you have to take your foot off the break, pull the emergency break and then shut it off. If you don't do it in that order, it won't start. You can't leave it in gear and start it. Some people don't like leaving their vehicles out of gear (on a hill makes sense, but i leave mine with e-brake all the time, unless i'm on a huge *** hill). None the less it works well for me.
