Lambo door convertion

I am planning on installing a 90 degree lambo hinge kit on my cavalier and just wondering if anyone can suggest one which one to get. I am debating if I should go with the manual one or the automatic ones (thinking about the speed of which they open and close, and if anyone knows which company is the better product for these. I am looking at ordering the kit from Autoloc right now. Or should I stay away completely from the conversion?

the autoloc kit is very nice, and there is no differanc between the auto and manual kits, there both using the same construction and hardware, so its your choice ! have fun

just open your doors the normal way?? lol ....i dont think much of the lambo kits on everyday cars.... the only advice i can think of is dont go cheap....get a cheap kit and you will regret it later.

Why, they still have to open outwards but are now only able to come out onaverage of 8" (depending on vehicle) before they swing up.Then when they swing up, if you are of average height and build or are larger than average, be prepared to do the limbo to get in and out of the vehicle. Next up there is the ability to seal properly (seen a lot of improperly sealed vehicles) and the quality of the install + the quality of the parts on the install. Just a big PITA if you ask me.

Lambo doors belong on a Lambo. Not a cavalier.

worst thing you could ever do to a daily driven car they will NEVER align right and the stress on your pillars where the hinges mount to will stress crack in no time unless properly reinforced and warranty dont cover that kind of problem. If your gonna do it expect to pay thick wads or cash and have it done right
