Led Zepplin vs Pink Floyd, Whos better?

i think during that era zeppelin had a little edge over floyd. its hard to make a figurative comparison without proper data, but all i can say that back in the day when various radio stations had their top 100-1000 songs of all time "stairway to heaven" seemed to always take the the 1-5 spot.

If it were based on one album I would say Pink Floyd for
Dark Side of The Moon - it is still a reference and it changed the way people recorded albums.
Honerable Mention (In my opinion):
Wish You Were Here
The Wall
But overall, with the exception of In Through the Out Door and CODA, EVERY Zeppelin album is great -- most heavy metal bands including Judas Priest said that Physical Graffiti was a major influence.
As for musicianship -- I would say Led Zeppelin:
Singer: Plant kicks Gilmour's *** and lots of guys (Ashbury, Cornell, Buckley among others) have copied him.
Guitar: Page -- Gilmour is great, but come on Jimmy is in at least the top 10 of everyone
Bass: John Paul Jones is a better bass player than waters
Drums: Bonzo - they decided they could not play the same way without him -- he infused jazz licks into their songs and again, turned the use of drums on it's head
Music is personal taste -- I actually prefer AC/DC to these two (I am not saying they are better, just that I like them better).

Musically, I'd say Floyd are the better musicians.....never seen Zep live, but the Floyd and Waters shows I've seen have all been very accurately reproduced.
The live Zep I've heard just doesn't compare to their studio work.
But hey....Zeppelin is pure rock 'n roll, whereas Floyd is more of an acid rock concept band.
And I'd have to agree.... Pink Zeppelin wins hands down! or is it Led Floyd.....or if you smoke those banana peels, is it still pink?
