Heres my playoff run down as I see it…..
The West
Detroit - The wings are gonna go far, but i hear Legacey is going to be the go to guy over a hurt and inconsistent Cujo. They have an old team with tons of experience as long as the goaltending cant keep it in check they might take it this year. My Picks Hull, Lang, Shannahan, Yzerman, Datsyuk, Schneider and Zetterberg.
Nashville – Hahahahaha how’d they get in here. Take Sullivan, Walker or Zidlicky if you dare.
San Jose - Watch out for San Jose, they are a hard working team that has lots of fire power, I think they could challenge Detroit if they keep their cool, but how will the inexperience of their team in the playoffs hold up?? My Picks Marleau, Ekman, Damphousse and Cheechoo is just fun to say.
St Louis – Hardly made it in, expect them to die in the first round due to Osgood being a Civ.
Canucks - Cloutier isnt proven in the playoffs yet, Naslund is playing hurt, on defense they have Brent “Give Away” Sopel, and those other 2 twins have trouble doing up their skates in the plaoffs let alone scoring. My picks would be Morrison, Naslund and Jovo.
Calgary – Many people pick them as a darkhorse team, the work hard and play VERY physical, but the only real goal scorer they have is Iginla and can Kiprusoff play as god in the playoffs as he has in the regular season. Their defense hasn’t had many big scorers but they do manage to get the goals when they are needed. My picks Iginla, Simon, Leopold.
Colorado - Colorado Salo has been hit and miss ever since the last Olympics and their other goaltenders arent proven yet...their high powered forwards will have to win them games but may have to due so without Kariya and Tanguay who are both hurt. My picks Blake, Sakic, Forsberg.
Dallas – I as well and almost every other sportscaster across the country expect them to win this series, hard working forwards and a solid defense are they keys to a good playoff run for them. Take Modano, Guerin, Arnott, Zubov.

The East…
Tampa Bay – Amazing team, they have all played together for the better part of 2 years, the centers know where their wingers are blindfolded, solid Defense and better team chemistry. Look for Tampa to go far so long as the goaltenders can keep things together.
Pick St.Louis, Richards, Stillman and Boyle is the key man on the powerplay.
New York Islanders – Could pose a threat but lack of offense will most likely stop them in the first round. If you dare go with Hunter, Yashin or Aucoin.
Boston – With a hurt Joe Thornton who knows, but Samsonov comming back form injury with a scoring touch he should help make up for anthing Thornton will miss offensively. The key to Bostons success lays in the hands of rookie goaltender Andrew Raycroft. Best bets are Murray, Gonchar, Samsonov, Thornton and Rolston.
Montreal – Hard working team that I don’t think has the forward depth to win vs boston, look for them to be gone in 6. Id take Ryder, Kovalev, Ribero and Souray if hes healthy.
Flyers – A big team that will run you down and bang you up, their power forwards also have the scoring touch look for their series vs the devils to be a good one. Like manyother teams Philly can only go as far as Ecshe takes them. Philly boys worth taking are Roenick, Recchi, Amonte, LeClair and Johnsson.
Devils – Martin Brodeur is a machine in the playoffs, big strong defense in front of him and an unusually potent offense this year should help to take them to the final 4 with ease. Id pick Elias, Niedermayer, Gomez and Langenbrunner might be a hard horse pick that could pay off.
Toronto – As much as it pains me to say this…..they have a great chance at a Stanley cup this season due to the addition of many crafty old war horses that have playoff experience such as Francis, Leetch, Roberts, Nieuwendyk. As long as Eddys back can hold up they might just be my favorite to win the cup this year. Sundin, Mogilny, McCabe, Francis, Leetch, Roberts, Nieuwendyk are all good bets.
Ottawa – Sorry guys but goaltending’s going to lose it for them in 6 or less, im my draft im not going to take a Sen unless I have no other choice…..but if I do Id go with Hossa, Redden, Chara, Alfredsson, Havlat, Spezze or Bondra.

Isnt this a playoff pool Logan??
Stick to anylizing Calgary.. Sopel has out scored Jovo most playoff years. (and giveaways dont count) he also smoked him in points this year, and games played had nothing to do with that.. Sopel just outplayed Jovo.
the Twins play great in the playoff, and happen to thrive on little space.. those 2 could play in a phone booth and keep it away from teams.
Cloutier was the only thing I will agree on and time will tell if Kiprosoff will become what Turco did last year and Cloutier did in past years.. Kiprosoff has proven nothing YET.
If We got points for knee on knee colisions or cheap shots, then I would have Denis Gautier and Brian Marchment.. Cause they are about as cheap as it gets!!

I really don't think the Sens will do well this year, but I'd rather have a 3rd liner from them than Yashin.
That guy is a joke in the playoffs.
