Man I knew Id be working long *** hours once I started doing construction but in this last week being May 23 - 28 I put in 40 regular hours and 52 hours of overtime!

u get a nice check but no time to spend any of it!

Not worth it to me, at all. Everybody needs time to spend with friends, family and g/f's or b/f's.

I work about 50 hours a week and thats 10 hours too much

that much over time is crazy, is it even legal to work that much in a week lol? the income tax on that is going to be retarded.

my buddie used to work construction .......... he'd work 16-18 hours a day 6 days a week for 2 or three months on end .......I don't know how he did it, that would have killed me I'm sure

Is it legal? No. But if the employee wants to work it, who is going to care. The income tax might be pretty high because they'll be taxing him at the highest rate, but he's probably not going to be doing that all year around. So at the end of the year there will be a nice tax return for sure.

Thats right form what I hear at the end of the year most guys get back $3000 - $5000

Come around mid September its gonna start being like 6:00am until 11:00pm with every second Sunday off....but I look at it this way, bust my ***** all spring and summer end work mid. November buy a Sled and spend the winter bombing around on the new sled and Ice fishing [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
