Did anyone go?

I went to Vancouver on Friday. HOLY CRAP was it good. They ony played 2 songs off St.Anger, and the rest was old school stuff. Godsmack kinda sucked but Metallica blew the roof off!

I saw Nickelback on Wed. they played Sad But True. Unfortunately the rest of the songs were their own. They put on a good show though. The Trews opened as well as Thornley, they were better than Nickelback music wise but didn't have as cool of a show though.

Can't wait to see Pixies though, twice.

Well I saw Nickelback in Calgary w/ Staind and 3 Days Grace, that was a great show.. I'm not much of a Nickelback fan, but they put on a good show! I just saw Metallica in Edmonton, and they also put on a good show. Godsmack wasn't what I expected, but that bongo thing was great. I got floor tickets in Saskatoon so I will see Metallica again in 6 weeks. I also got Juno tickets in Edmonton [img]smile.gif[/img]

I was blown away by Metallica. Edmonton blows the roof off. I'd be happy to post some sound clips from the show (thanks to www.livemetallica.com) proving this. My buddy Met the boys. Got a CD signed for me. I also saw Nickelback last week. They weren't bad, better then before. At least their concert was full of hotties. And Edmonton had twice the ladies underwear thrown on stage as Calgary. Boo Yah! Me and some guys are gonna pick up some tix for either calgary or stoon in May. I'd love to see them again.
