Mission home speakers
NE one know where to get mission home speakers cheaper then in the stores?
I want to get a pair of the M74 towers but do not want to shell out the dough for them $900 and taxes.
The only places I can find on line are in the UK

Bay Bloor Radio (T.O.) sells them as does 2001 Audio/Video. But they're both stores I guess....
Could always watch for some sales or floor stock clearance to get a deal. There's better out there for the $$$ IMO though.

Try 2001 Audio Video's outlet on Kennedy Rd. and 401. They'll have scrach and dent stuff. Some is good, some is crap. Depends on whats there the day you go.
Check out the Athena speakers while you are there too. Good bang for the buck.
Lardass.

Don't buy retail speakers. Take the time to build your own and you won't be dissapointed.
You can save tons of money and have the same quality or you can spend the same as retail and have speakers that would blow anything off the shelves away.
Go check out this site for home speaker building info, alot of these guys know their **** and will help you out www.diyaudio.com

If you have the time, energy and tools to build you own, go for it.
But, if you have no tools and no desire to do it, by like me and spend some time at some higher end audio shops listening to various brands. You'd be surprised how reasonably priced some of the "expensive" speakers are.
Personally, I went with Mirage speakers.
