More Surgery...YEA!

Well...It never seems to end...
Over the last while I have had diminished sight in my right eye.I've been putting it off and living with it.But back a couple weeks ago,I was almost in a car accident becuase I couldnt see something. So I broke down, spent the money I couldnt afford and went and had my eyes checked...and there it was like I sort of thought it would be...a cataract!Yesterday I went back to have my pupils dialated and rechecked and they confirmed both eyes have cataracts, with the right side being extreme and the left just forming.
I got a call from a specialist today and so I will be making an appointment with him for hopefully in the next couple weeks.I want this done and over with as soon as possible.
On a good note, should the proceedures(each eye will be done seperatly)be textbook sucessful,I maybe able to do away with my perscription glasses and get by with reading glasses only.
But ya know...After the kidney stones over summer and now this..I've had about enough for a while..hehe..
For those who dont know much about them, here's a link to info about cataracts and how they are removed...

I'll keep ya'll posted as to what happens...

Thanks Limo, but I have a pending offer for that already....
And this should all be covered under Alberta Health Care...
Dont think there will be much in the way of costs...
Thanks for the thought though...

I'm trying not too, but spent so much time in the hospital in the last year that I'm getting sick of Drs!
I read today they do the surgery using local anesthetic only....I'll be awake and aware at all times....They'll have to strap my head down...lol...
