Over the past decade or so, "special" editions/homologation specials of the STi that have been sold globally have come without radios, A/C, power windows, etc. to reduce weight because the rally teams pull them out as soon as they bring them back to the shop for prepping anyway.

Why a cheeseburger/fries NADM production STi model doesn't have a radio is a mystery to me though.

 

You don't need a stereo when you can listen to a turbo boxer engine whining through it's RPM band.
