So...i've been working early (for me)....up at 7...at work for 8 kinda thing....lately when it hits 10 or 11, i'm struggling to stay awake. Anywho, in bed by about 2am last night....i wake up and am like wow...must be like noon or 1pm....it's 10am....so i go back to bed...wake up about 40 more times...and it's like 10:30...so i just get up...dead tired....

Talk to some folks online....watch some hockey only to see the oilers win....DAMN'T!!! Buddy calls...we go to the driving range....then end up playing 9 holes....which went fairly well for hte first round of the year....shot +4 after 9....missed a bird from like 3 ft.......still baffled that that was only a par 4. Anywho...a solid round, home for a shower....3 cases of beer and we're off to buddies to watch the flames game....got the goal light...picked up some little ceasars on the way...and then i felt a need to drive thru this mudbog by work....we fly thru it.....it's crazy fun...buddy is losing his mind...and hmm less traction than normal when we get out...go a bit...and uh oh...feels like a flat...

So we pull into a parking lot...there's clearly a hole in the side of my front tire....weak *** side walls...

So...whatever, turns out we're like 4 blocks from buddies and maybe a block and a half from work. Pop into the Overtime restaurant (i'm in their parkign lot), let em know i got a flat, and ask if it's ok if i leave my vehicle over night....game tonight...3 flats of beer, two pizzas and some bread sticks. he's like i understand....priorities... So the vehicle stays, Covered in mud....and with a flat .

Off to buddies, watch the game...flames lose....we throw bottles n cans off his third story balcony to a bum who is stoked about it all...get plastered....watch trailer park boys.....and now here i am...back at home.


Gonna have to phone up a shop tomorrow....get my jeep in for a new tire. (took out hte spare for the sub box....had no intentions of getting a flat...or off roading...so to speak). Pretty sure i'm gonna have to buy a new tire...i'm quite positive there was a solid hole in te side of this tire....(about...probably not even a year old...maybe 8 months.

So now...i'm pretty sure they don't make these tires...i got a deal on them 8 months ago when they were...at that time...last years tire. Do i just try and buy areplacement thats some what equivalent??? Do i buy two new tires.....and use one of mine as a spare??? What does a guy do in this case? Buy tires with stronger sidewalls? (who knows what was in the bottom of that second mud bog...seemed like we came down hard inside it....but it was hella fun!!!).

Anywho...thats the day.

hole is kinda dried up....it's actually umm hmm kinda near the sidetrack (the old one), it's still a good thing of mud..i haven't really looked to see whats in there.

needless to say it turns out my tires were new enough....could just get a new one and not be much diff in tread....

$220 later i'm back and running....cleaning it was a pain!!!
