did you try PMing Furley explaining that to him and see if he'll unlock it ........ not my forum, so there's not much I can do for you there

Thanks for the replys,If furley wants to be a dick like that,thats fine I can start another topic no big deal,I just posted this up to see if anyone else was seeing the same things I was while on here,It seems that in some cases the power of being a moderator is being used for personal agendas thats all,and Im not just posting this cause my topic got locked Ive seen in on a few occasions and thought it should be up for disscussion.....
Ouch... some of you people take things WAY too seriously.
He never said you can't start a new thread with your gear.
He just thougt that one was getting long and a 3+ page thread full of "bump" was useless.
If I were looking at the gear you had for sale I would scroll through all of it to see if you had posted any new, relevant info. If all I saw was "bump" I'd be a bit annoyed.
So just start a new thread with all the info that a person could want.
Besides.. you should have sent him a PM asking him what was up before bitching in here. He may have had a reasonable explanation. So why not do the mature thing and ask?
So now I have a question. Why is it that when the mods do something to the "children" on this board that act like a bunch of crazy teenagers they're called ****'s?
Did you ever think that we're trying to keep this board on a semi-mature level and that name calling, dirty pictures, and fould language just aren't things we think are necessary?

Fact of the matter here is people yes we run a tighter ship than other sites. That has been there from the beginning and will not change. But to come out and "roast" all the mods is uncalled for. Like I said before, if you have some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, we are open ears. If you just want to bitch about a post or two getting shut for what you think is no reason, you might as well save your time it takes to type it.
PM's are a wonderfull thing. If you have a beef about a post getting shut down, PM the mod that closed it. I will make sure all my mods know that if they shut a thread down, they make a short post as to why.

Fair Enough but as my post says "GENERALLY SPEAKING" I wasn't pointing fingers. No one generally has the right to take their bad day out on another, it happens yah of course, someone crosses u the wrong way sometimes its a little uncontrollable, but generally one shouldn't be taking out their bad day on another.
Generally what I'm curious about, for all mods. Is when you lock a topic because its 'bad', if its that bad why not just delete it so no one may see it? Cause when its locked people can still see it. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img] Just curious.
