Curious I was told I may need to get a cap for my new system [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img] As it'll be to hard on my alternator?

1000 Watt Amp
2 10" Alpine Type R's

Cap will do little to help your alternator.

I would upgrade the alt if you are worried.

I noticed the dome light pulsing a bit (had the door open) everytime bass hit ...

a cap will help with the dome light and give the amp better power, but it will do nothing for the alternator

if U want a cap, get one at XS cargo, the cheapest place to get one that I've found.

It will only make a diff if your amp has an un-regulated power supply.

Upgrade the big 3. Cheaper then a cap and will get better results. [img]smile.gif[/img]
