Need car Help.....

when i left my house my car started fine, no problems at all. then when i went to start my car when i left my dads house it turned over but wouldnt fire. we pushed it into the garage and took a quick look pulled 2 plugs and neither of them had any spark.

Now I thught it might be the Hall sender on the side of the distributor, and that it might have crapped out but I dont know how to test it..... and in my angry state I forgot the pull the wire to check it the distributor itself fires but Im sure its not.

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? The eletrical aspect of the car isnt my strong point and I dont really want to take it into the dealership

Im not sure what year your car is but the electrical systems get pretty intricate on cares into the new millenium. It probably wouldnt be a bad idea to get it checked out by someone who can check where the electricity stops, therefore finding out the reason why your getting no spark. I would assume the plugs are wet which means your fuel supply is fine. Maybe the plug wires from the distributor cap are bad. I would also check the rest of the plugs and make sure theyre receiving spark, if not you can trace it back to the distributor cap and go from there. Good luck.
