Need some positive thoughts.....

I was just hoping you guys could put some words of encouragement for my g/f Tara. She is good person, and hearts don't come any bigger.
Tara's dad has a tumor in his abdomen that he's getting tests done on, and we are waiting to hear the results. The doctor's have him on a specifc diet, and he's lost alot of weight.
Any postive thoughts would help.
Thanks,
Mike

I hope that things turn around for her dad, it must be a tough thing to be dealing with. Hopefully he can stay positive and beat that thing! I know that my Dad means a lot to me, best of luck.

Just went thru a simialr thing.
My GF's dad had his colon burts, and his blodd went septic.
There was 48hrs that we had no idea if he was going to live. That was 2weeks ago today. he just got home from the hospital and is doing remarkable better. He too has to change his diet and lifestyle.
He is on a 'bag' (bypass the colon) for another two months. he just about had to live with it for the rest of his life.
Best of luck to her father, and the only thing you can do is be there for her and her family.

My wife and i just went through the same with her grandma a year ago. Now a year later and she would never know that she had been sick. It's funny because she's 71 and she can still drink some of my friends under the table. best wishs and my prayers are with you also!

Mike and Tara,
As I mentioned to you before the most important thing is to stay positive! I too understand what you are going through as I have gone through similar with both my parents. The most important thing is have faith and stay positive for your dad. He needs your support, you stay positive inturn he will remain postive as well. Jon and I are here for you and if you need anything let us know.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Keep smiling things will get better.
