I used the Miata the entire game for my first game and never once blew the engine, so I don't know what to say ...

 

Perhaps you know what your doing and the strategy guide guys found it a common issue with most n00bs?

Cuz I do know you can change ur gear shifting speed etc.

I did find with some races even with the civic that once im in the top gear (shifting properly - perfect /good shifting) that i wouldnt be at the finish yet and with or without NOS the engine would blow.

Yeah I have the 240 now so damn slow specially when ya drive that chicks 350z.. How long do you have to be in exloration mode or whatever before you just do the actuall tracks?

 

Just so I know, are you using Autosave ? Because on PC and PS2 (I haven't played it on GC or XBox), you have to have Autosave on or it will not save your tuning settings ...

 

Doug the actual 'tracks' are in exploration, you drive around and find the races.

Jmac I'm using PC and yes autosave is on. All my settings are saved.

Finals are over so I'll go back to play the game again lol

I finally started playing, got some power into the engine well haven't checked how much lol but it picks up quicker and now sounds more like a ricer with it's raspy exhaust [img]tongue.gif[/img]

 

The exhaust doesn't actually change the sound. It's the mods to the engine, ECU, and Turbo that do ...

Nah I'll stick to easy Jmac as I JUST BARELY did it lol
