So just a quick update. Well the ram is not going to work, so I will be getting 6Gb of Kingston 2000Mhz instead. Many thanks to the knowledgable staff at Tiger Direct for recommending the OCZ ram I bought that is incompatable with my Mobo.
Right now it is only seeing 2Gb 1066Mhz dual channel. Even with that problem this thing just absolutely smokes.
I have timed it from a cold start to a Google search is 38 seconds
We actually found the point at which it will slow down slightly LOL. You literally have to start 2 games (WOW & Fallout 3) at the same time with max video settings, and in one jump off a building and spin around and it will hesitate for a split second while it loads then it is off and running at full speed again.

I wonder if you can make it release some magic smoke.....

Sounds like a screamer, dude...glad it's working out for ya.....

TTYS
Well it is done.
3.5 months and $2.5k later but it is FINALLY DONE!!!! ( until it needs an upgrade when something faster comes out in a month or so) LOL
The final configuration is...
Cooler Master CM690 case ( NOT the Nvidia version with lime green trim and side window LOL)
Intel I7 930 2.8Ghz CPU
Asus P6T M/B
Gskill 6Gb 1333mhz tri channel ram
2x BFG Nvidia GTX 260 Maxcore overclocked SLI video cards
4x Patriot PS-100 32Gb solid state hard drives in raid 0 array
Western digital Caviar green 1Tb slow old school HDD for storage
Corsair HX 850 watt power supply
Samsung 22x DVD burner
Razer Naga Laser mouse with 12 button thumb keypad.
Holy crap is this thing FAST. Words just cannot describe how fast it will do things. While installing Crysis we also downloaded and installed 3 windows updates and could still open explorer with no lag at all.
Internet is now averaging 900-1000mb/s and 2000mb/s is the fastest so far. I can download a 5 minute MP3 literally in the blink of an eye. It will run Crysis Warhead fully maxed out and not even break a sweat. Total cost came to around the $2200 mark for just the tower, add $380 for the 28" LCD and $90 for the fancy mouse. Yes that is a 12 button number pad on it. Now before you ask here are the pics. LOL
Looks like x-mas morning.

It even looks like a beast. LOL

Massive CPU heat sink with 120mm fan

I can still put 1 more in there, it mocks me everytime I look at that. I should have 3 why did you only give me 2? LOL Because they were $200+ each.

Now this is why this beast is so lightning fast. You have to look very close as they are tiny. This is 4 yes 4 32Gb solid state drives working as one raid 0 - 128Gb primary hard drive. This gives me a 256mb buffer cache ( 4x 64mb ) They will read at 840mb/sec ( load 1gig to ram in 1.2 secs) They write at 600mb/sec ( save 1gig file 1.7 secs)

Back view, SSDs are on the bottom and the middle racks, the top is the 1Tb spinny drive for storage

Monitor and case are both sitting on the coffee table LOL

Now how many of you can do this? This is the Tiger direct home page full size side by side with no overlap.

Funky new mouse, needs a few more buttons though. LOL

Looks good nick. Just out of curiosity , do they not make cases with the power supply that's at the bottom(like yours) that's in it's own enclosure?
Me personally I would want the PSU to have it's own dedicate 120 cooling fan with it's factory exhaust fan.
I don't touch PCs anymore since I jumped ship to a MAC - I used to build servers and pc and always wanted that feature.
