My 'puter is six years old... I already had a 6GB and a 20GB drive in there...

Not near enough room, in preperation for gigs (I'm a part-time party DJ), I had to uninstall stuff to make room for mp3's...

Pulled the 6GB'er out and stuck an 80GB'er in Ton's o' room now!

6, 20, 80 GB. Thats nothing. 400GB is where it is at. And that is just my storage drive.

No matter what you're never gonna have enough room. I was in the same situation years back, probably around '95 or so. Finally convinced my parents to get me a 60GB maxtor drive at costco, which i said i was gonna pay them for. $450. That helped out a bit i didnt have to delete stuff as i wanted more. But it didn't take long to fill that up and i was being forced to delete movies and or uninstalll programs.

Picked up an 80gb somewhere around 2000 and that was sweet, now i had more than twice the room. I was golden. That didn't go very far, you get a song or two and it's full.

So recently i picked up a 200gb drive since they're fairly cheap (and a LCD screen)and i was pretty stoked, even with the pain it was getting it to run off a controller card, but now i'm lookin and i have lotsa room on my G drive, but still not a ton of room. I've got no worries now, but you get a song or 15000 and it takes up room quickly. A **** file or two....that room don't last.

It's never enough!!!

I have a 160. I don't know what I'd do with anymore than that. My drive has never gotten more than half full.
