With all the roster moves my hockey pool will be freakin confusing this year.

Damn... Flames picked up Amonte and McCarty though.

Gonna be an awesome season. I can't wait!!

seriously.... the playing field has completely changed.... oh how the "i'm going to spend as much as it takes to win, but not win" Leafs are going to suck next season.

Reports are that the Canucks have re-signed Markus Naslund to three years - $18 million. They will still have about $5 million in cap room but probably not enough for Peter Forsberg or Scott Niedermeyer. They might be able to re-sign Ed Jovanovski though.

The hearing on Todd Bertuzzi's suspension might happen today. If he's cleared to play, the Canucks might not look too different from 2003-2004?

thats hot!!! Iggy's back. We've got Amonte and Mccarty which is pretty intense. Unfortunate about gelinas though. Be hot if they picked up neidermier (hmm no idea how to spell his name)

Sounds like Scott Neidermeyer might be going to either the Canucks or the Flames as he wants to be closer to home (Cranbrook, BC).
The Canucks might be making room as they just traded Brent Sopel to the Islanders for a draft pick. That frees up some cap room....
