ur 2nd post - PPl are stupid.
You can tell the players who want to play, and the player who are just in it for Cash. The 6 million a season people can suck my ***, I'd rather watch the 2 million/season player cause there really into it for the fun.

All I see is "its not about the money" and "they get paid too much". Well they are in a job and I'm sure you would'nt want a pay cut either. Am I condoning that they make lots of money...NO. What I am doing is saying that both sides have their right points. Owners are sick of paying high prices to players. Fans are sick of paying high prices for tickets. Players want to get paid for the job they do with what the market will bear. Plain and simple its you the fans that are the reason things got this way. Don't blame the players, they are just playing the money game while they can. This goes for all sports not just hockey. If fans didn't go to games and watch on tv(which is where the real revenue is) then owners couldnt afford to pay players as much. Hence players would either live with being paid less or get jobs. You have 1 of 2 options, either stop watching sports or stop whining and live with it

What or who pays the salaries with teams like tampa bay or carolina for example? They sell tickets as cheap as $20. I can't remember which team it was that would sell all tickets for $20 at one point not sure if it still happens, but i know the cheapest you'll find a Leaf ticket is like $60. For a good/decent seat its around $80-$100. It's insane my dad gets seasons tickets at the ACC for the Leafs and the prices on those tickets are like
Especially when playoffs hit every ticket doubles and your lucky to find a play off ticket under $100...[ September 15, 2004, 11:32 AM: Message edited by: Z24 ]
