heh i hafta agree, i've only been on this board for 2 months and i havent seen any *serious* bickering, but the odd little thread going on.
that being said, i dont think i've done anything to upset the mods and regs of this board, and i hope to keep it that way.
i am greatful for all the info i've learned here in the 2 months ive been here.

I think what Dereck is trying to get to here is name calling (no matter how YOU interpret the definition) is not going to be tollerated here. It hasn't been in the past and it won't be in the future.
My question is:
Where the hell do alot of you people get off slandering the people who provide this site to you for absolutly free of charge? We give you free reign to come on here and share the passion of car audio with others and you have the nerve to bitch out the people who keep this place going? Grow up or leave. Period.

This site was created by Wade and is also hosted with him. Majority of the operational costs are taken care of buy our advertisors but any risidual costs are absorbed by Wade. All of the mod's donate their time to CCA without asking anything in return...maybe just a little of respect from the members.

As admins/mods we are helping Wade run the board, meaning we are basically his "staff". So by proxy we are contributing financially [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

All I said, Whacker was you guys were making it sound as you paid for the site to stay up, and I knew that wasn't the case. Yeah, I was being a bit of a dick. I just know that I mod a board too for free. And when members complain about topics being locked for no good reason it is what it is. I certainly don't post after them and say "I do this for free don't complain"
I do it for a buddy of mine. I know that there will ocassionally be people complaining. It comes with the territory of modding a forum. So if you don't like to hear people's opinion's on an "open discussion" area of the forum I suggest that maybe being a mod isn't really something you like doing. I do it on the board I mod because I know a lot of the people there and like it. You make it out as it's such a hard job and we should respect you all so much. But, I will still raise a stink and act like a dick when topics get deleted for no good reason. Maybe they are stupid topics or stuff that you all feel is retarded, but it is an open forum meaning that is what it is for. Like my dog video. Topic get's locked... why? Because we can't have some people in there arguing and debating? That is what a forum is about. And certainly an open forum at that.
