Ottawa area mechanics

Stealth. It suddenly started running like crap in the fall. It runs, but is WAY down on power, poor acceleration etc.. It doesn't stall or run rough, and it idles fine. I have heard that the IC's can go on them, especially with 180,000 kms on it, but I fear it is one of the turbos. I really don't know much about turbo-charged systems. Just an 'ol carburator guy.
Can't wait to see the bill for this one.

Well.. if you aren't in too much of a rush I can hook you up with my bro-in-law.
He used to work at Surgenors and is a master mechanic.
He's now a firefighter so he has a business on the side doing car repair. His prices are pretty good and he does great work.
I don't know how much experience he has with turbo and AWD systems though. I would personally have no problems bringing my car to him in your situation, but I didn't want to give you his name right away. I can give you his name & number if you want though. Give him a call, talk to him, see if you feel comfortable.
Like I said though, he's a fireman so he can't always get things done the next day. It kind of has to work around his schedule. He's in Cumberland so it's a bit of a treck, but if you can get the car to him I'm sure it'll be worth your while.
Hit me up with a PM if you're interested
