ok well I have been having trouble decideing on vehicals lately. It's not that I dont like my pathfinder that I have right now, it does good and all but somedays I just wanna sell it and get something new.!

well anyways I started looking around and I started thinking about the Mazda B-series trucks. They are in my price range and to be honest I want to go standard . I was looking at the B3000 and B4000 anything lower and they tend to lack power and what not.

Now my question is what does everyone think of the B-series trucks. I was thinking on going with a 94-96 model. are they reliable and such. and would anyone thing I should just stay with my pathfinder ?? I found a B3000 in the autotrader and I accually want to get that one..or mabey something close.
here is the link
MAZDA B3000 LINK

anyways if anyone wants to throw their 2 cents in on what I should go with. or possibly another truck?? and how these B-series trucks stack up agains my pathfinder heh.

thanks for any advice

STICK WITH THE PATHY! mazda sux! ok well i really dont know much about maxda, plus i might be a lil bias seeing how i have a pathy too
i have always liked both my pathfinders. my 89 has been GREAT! never had a problem with it even with 269 800 Kms on it. the only thing that has sux was the rust on the floor boards. cheack under the rear seats, the frame starting at the rear tires back, and the floor board under the gaspedle. if all that seems good(i.e. no rust) then just stick with the pathy! oh and plus the B seires looks like CRAP IMO.

I like the 3L v6 in the mazda truck. Buddy had a 97? for a while and it was a good truck. I had a 2.2L '89 for a few years with little probs.
That being said, a pfinder in good shape is a great vehicle also.

If you get a Mazda pickup, get the 4.0 litre. I have a 1996 3.0 litre 4x2 extended cab with auto trans. Not a whole lot of hp...probably 145-148hp at most. And still pretty thirsty...18-20mpg city and 28 hwy. Wished that I had bought the 4 wheel drive version though. Don't haul a lot...just yard stuff. Need a bunch of sand bags during the winter to get some weight in the back....keep a couple of sand bags during the rest of the year (not needed except if it really rainy out).

Not a whole room...just good enough for 2 adults. A small child would fit the seats in the extended cab.

In those years were before the death of mazda. They are ford with a mazda stick on them....at least Ford didn't touch the mazda RX-7.

umm yeah, i'm sorry, but import truck's just don't cut it. if you want a truck that size then buy a dakota, calorado, canyon, ranger, s-10, s-15, or a sonoma. they just don't cut it and they look so ugly, domestic for truck's and some suv's, import/domestic for car's.

OK then chunk...

in those years the B series were a FORD RANGER. they were just rebadged. just like a chevy tracker, suzuki sidekick and pontiac sunrunner, they were alll the same vehicles except differnt badges.

MMMM, I think there would be many many Toyota truck owners that would have to disagree with that statement, they make some excellent, reliable, off road capable trucks.
