k i'm not goign to go any further, every one has thier own like's and dislike's, i just prefer domestic truck's over import's. so i'm stopping here and the rest of you can fight amungst your selves

Toyota has made very solid trucks. I do admit I am not totally famaliar with them, but 2 of my cousins has older ones and when they sold them, the trucks each had over 400,000 km on them. The bodies were iffy, but the engines ran like a top still. I'd love to find an older Land Cruiser for sure.

domestics
I have to say im not a fan of domestics either my parents had a mazda van not one problem for 10yrs and then we get a 03 envoy, hmm lets see already 7 times into the shop and we got it in 04, not impressed at all! ya i know the b-series are like a ranger but to be honest I wouldnt buy a ranger and plus ya I do like toyota but those things suprisingly never go down in price. the only decent priced ones are like 88-89. but now that I think about it the only B-series I would get is 4000 cuz I love having the 4x4 ability. specially in the wonderful winter:D keep posting veiw points I love feed back thanks |

If you decide do get a B-Series, do yourself a favour and get a B4000. The 3.0L is quite the dog and achieves about the same mileage as the much stouter 4.0L. The 4.0L is a solid powerplant and will get 20+ mpg (US gallons, not imperial) even in modified form. Plus they will usually run for 300,000+ km. And yes, the B-Series trucks are nearly identical to a Ranger of the same year ('94 and up). The only diference being you will probably not find a fiberglass tonneau cover that fits a B-series very well because of the narrower overall bed size.
