Probablly a stupid question but I have a set of logitech z-5300 speakers for my pc and I was wondering if you can hook up the sub to a home theater receiver like any other normal home sub. Just wondering thanks

There was a set of pc speakers that came with a converter that made it compatible with a dvd player. My friend has them back home they actually look like the set u have. if u do not have a converter with it you can find them at radio shack (friend of mine did it last year in res cause his didnt come with it), it's basically a connector really one end fits the pc speaker plug and the other end fits into the audio plug of the dvd player.
