I think it was 2 years ago they went to burger king, I was talking to the manager the other day..(in saskatoon) he said it was good for business, people would order extra jr burgers(with everything on it) and chuck it at them.

"I can understand if it was something that was important, like endangered species or something, but 90% of the meat that we eat now, are breed that way. Cows, Chickens, Fish, Turkey, they are all breed with the intention that they will be getting killed. "You assaulted the Chicken, then you killed it! I don't agree with the methods of PETA in many respects but I do understand their desire to bring attention to their cause of chickens raised in the mega-farms. I don't know if you have ever seen them in photos or person but the laying hens are couped up, four to a cage, where they cannot move, nor can they even stand up. They are debeaked so they don't peck at each other (since they go crazy in their cages). Its pretty crappy conditions. For some additional information and pics check out this webpage.

It opened my eyes. I grew up in a farming community and never saw any of these practices used but obviously they exist. Its pretty darn inhumane.

Yes when I was 16 I worked 'chickens' and pulled them from cages and moved them into mobile cages so they could be hauled to KFC. It is fairly disgusting, if you actually care about how chickens live that is. I also learned about it is one of my philosophy ethics classes. I don't eat KFC anymore, just cause I find it way to greasy but bring on the burgers baby!

see now, i feel that everyone has a right to their own opinion, same as i have a right to mine, and should i have kids their will have a right to theirs, but no one has the right to try to push their opinion or values on anyone else,
if someone handed me a bucket of mutilated chicken they would be wearing it seconds after while i yelled at their eye for being ignorant. chickens are food, cows are food, milk is food, eggs are food, same as peas and carrots are food, if it wasnt humans eating them it would be other preditors, coyotes wolves cougars etc... do i necessarily agree with the way food animals are slaughtered and processed, not really, do i really care? not really, would i put up with someone getting in my face over it, definately not.
i think the people for the ethical treatment of IV drugs need to boycott pam and her diseased plastic A**
PETA should be focusing on animals that arent FOOD and in overabundance to save, tigers, elephants, primates rather then trying to traumatize children. its a form of domestic terrorism in my opinion, kill em all
