Cool

So now that the SPL system is basicly setup,Rob and I have begun plans for the new faze of Team 8 Track....
Team 8 Track is going multi-media,Baby!!!!
Here's a basic rundown....
While I was in 'Peg,I had 2 Beta VCR's given to me for nothing....one has wireless remote and everything. This got me to thinking"I have a 3.5" B&W TV at home doing nothing!"So Rob and I have been discussing this plan for a short time now...he has some ideas...I have some ideas..
One idea that we both seem to share is the idea that once this setup is in place,a video game system will be in order...an Atari perhaps!! Through one of my customers at work,I may very likely have a line on a full Atari game set with games and all!
I'm excited about this idea....This should bring Team 8 Track into the early 20th century or so...LMAO....
Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas on placement of compoments(and NO!!...NOT IN THE GARBAGE!!,wiring,etc...this is going to be somewhat complex due to the fact we are planning on wiring everything...8 Track,CD,VCR,Atari...all into the same audio system!!

Wish us luck!!

Keep on Thumpin'!!

Sounds like you need a bigger car man!

Cool idea, the black and white tv i'm not crazy about however. It's just not the same if it aint in color.

Looking foward to seeing more install pics.

Yeah...kind of weighing the options right now...

Still looking for another Sunbird, but with all thats going on with SPL and little toys in the car,I may consider the idea of going with a differnt car all together.

I am not sure yet when or if we will put this all in this car...I want to hold off for a little bit...see if another car comes along...Got more than enough gear to yank and transfer as is..

I will keep you posted as time goes on...

And thanks for the support,Zut....much appreciated...

Go for a cavalier wagon man, then pretty much everything would swap right in, kicks too even, then boom, your bird is a good parts source.

Best of luck.

Cool

Now that you mention it....Thanks...you just reminded me of something....

Last night on way home from Rob's place,I spotted the perfect car....

It was a Sunbird Safari station Wagon.....

This thing looked sort of like a typical Sunbird sw...except...

Alloy wheels
Flip up head lights like the GT model
Std. Trans.

It was SWEEET!!

I need to find one!!

Thanks for the memory kick!!

Keep on Thumpin'!!

Beta! Oh that's good! And as for all of these people suggesting video game systems, if you are doing a B&W T.V. you need to get one of those old "pong" games. You know, the game system that could switch between tennis, hockey etc, and had two paddles with dials . . . that is retro.

T8T - very cool idea, Go hard core with it (just don't make every post about it)

I like your ideas, should get a lot of smiles at shows.

Since you are going retro, why not do your entire sound system . . . People on this board are always talking about their retro gear, go all the way and do a complete install with the oldest gear you can find.
