Pro wrestler Mike Hegstrand, a.k.a. Hawk of Legion of Doom, died in his sleep last night of unknown causes.

Man this really sucks! I grew up with these guys. Straight legendary in the WWF!

Hopefully drugs weren't involved!

Did you guys see the match they had about a month ago? Can't remember who it was against, but it was on Raw or Smackdown.

 

^^^ I didn't see it. I haven't watched the show lately. But apparently he was not feeling good the other day and went to take a nap and never woke up.

 

Dude, they paint their faces, put on spandex pants, then throw spiked shoulder pads on and go beat the **** out of other people... how could drugs NOT have been involved?!?

 

Well, I am sure they may use muscle enhancing legal drugs like all body builders. I was hoping more or less along the lines of the cause of death being from cocaine, herion ect...

They're wrestler's man, when aren't drugs involved?

I know quite a few people that got to meet Test at the YMCA here in Oshawa years ago, including my uncle. He said Test is just one big steroid. His veins pop way out even if he has done nothing at all and his skin is an unhealthy shade of red.

And then there's there really good drugs like cocain, heroin, crystal meth and stuff like that. They always seem to have plenty of that in their system.

How would I know you ask? Before my uncle got into Pharmacuticals he wanted to be a wrestler and trained very hard in both wrestling and martial arts....he has met many wrestlers such as Randy Savage,The Ultimate Warrior, Test and Bret Hart.

 

He did have a problem with alcohol some few years back but it looked like he had defeated it.

Yeah, I had heard this also. But man that guy looked so damn old like 20 years ago, I can't believe he made it this long. Sad week for wrestling.
